Apparently, Boyega's character is a former Stormtrooper, one who has fled the Empire and now resides on a desert planet that is not Tatooine as many have suspected. After discovering the severed hand of Luke Skywalker, still gripping his lightsaber, Boyega teams up with Daisy Ridley's character to find him and return the weapon. The site goes on to say this is the "single most confirmed piece of news" they've ever run so....I guess we should just take it as fact then? Judge for yourself.
Assuming any of this is true then it must be killing J.J. Abrams right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see some script rewrites emerge out of all these leaks. With Harrison Ford laid up for awhile and production taking a couple of weeks off that might be the time.
