Extra Risks $5M Fine to Spoil 'Batman v Superman'; Callan Mulvey's Villainous Role Revealed?

One of the major problems studios face now is that everybody involved with major productions is looking for their fifteen minutes of fame. The stars don't need it, obviously, but everybody from the crew to the extras are trying to find a way to gain some pub, and that usually manifests itself in leaked plot details, photos, etc. For a super secret movie like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the standard practice is to have them all sign confidentiality agreements. One extra apparently doesn't care, and risked a $5M fine to drop some serious spoilers to a local TV network. Obviously, SPOILERS beyond this point.

So over the summer Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch star Jena Malone was spotted on the Detroit set of Batman v Superman. Okay, that's interesting, but the two are friends so it's not totally crazy. Well, a source from the shoot recently went on WLIX television in Michigan and revealed that Malone is there to play Carrie Kelley aka the female Robin. We've heard she was part of the leaked version of the screenplay, but this would seem to confirm it. He also revealed details on a major fight scene between Superman and Lex Luthor in a museum that involves the paparazzi and the military.

Pretty big stuff, right? If the studio ever figures out who this guy is, and watching the network's attempts to hide his identity is pretty funny, then he's due for a serious dent in the bank account. Granted, the reporter doesn't state that he learned the Jena Malone news from this guy, but that certainly seems to be the case.

Also, we've known for awhile that Callan Mulvey had a role in the film and that it would likely be as a bad guy. But could it be as Batman's greatest nemesis, the Joker? That's what TMZ is claiming, and one can only think that having Joker and Luthor in the same movie means some kind of formation of the Injustice League, right?  [TheWrap]
