Michael Caine says Daniel Radcliffe has a Role in 'Now You See Me 2'

Because it didn't have "Marvel" tagged in front of it the $350M success of the heist flick Now You See Me may flown a bit under the radar. The fast-paced thriller about a team of illusionists-turned-bank robbers was a massive hit, and a sequel bringing back the cast of Isla Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine was quickly confirmed with Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) directing. But now we're also learning of one new additiona to the cast and it's Daniel Radcliffe, who is more familiar with the world of magic than most.

Michael Caine recently revealed to HeyUGuys that the former Harry Potter star has a role in Now You See Me 2, even going so far as to reveal his character....

Caine: “There’s a sequel to Now You See Me and we’re shooting in London. I shoot in December, the whole of December in London, and my son is Harry Potter. I thought it’d be funny, me and Daniel Radcliffe as father and son.”

Caine has a tendency to run off at the mouth a bit early when it comes to stuff like this (see everything he ever said about The Dark Knight Rises), and it wouldn't be at all surprising if Radcliffe's appearance was meant to be a secret. Now You See Me 2 (which may be titled Now You See Me: Now You Don't) opens June 10th 2016.
