New Trailer for Angelina Jolie's 'Unbroken' starring Jack O'Connell

One film that nobody has had a chance to see yet but is expected to make a lot of noise this awards season is Unbroken, the second turn behind the camera for Angelina Jolie. Starring rising star Jack O'Connell (Starred Up), it tells the true story of Olympic athlete and WWII soldier Louis Zamperini. who endured terrible tortures at the hands of the Japanese after his plane was shot down.

The latest trailer maintains the dramatic sweep of the prior ones, this time focusing on the hardships faced by Zamperini and where he found the strength to endure it. While it looks great and the kind of uplifting story Hollywood loves this time of year, what it doesn't need is the overbearing M83 score telling us exactly how inspirational Zamperini's story is. We get it.

Also starring Domhnall Gleeson, Miyavi, Garrett Hedlund, Jai Courtney, and Alex Russell, Unbroken hits theaters on Christmas Day.
