New Trailer for 'The Imitation Game' Cracks the Code

There's fresh reason for those of us here in the Washington, DC area to be excited about The Imitation Game. The Alan Turing biopic has recently been confirmed to be part of the impressive Middleburg Film Festival slate later this month, so fans eager to see if the fuss surrounding Benedict Cumberbatch's performance is justified.

A new trailer for the Morten Tyldum-directed film has been released, offering us a new look at the TIFF People's Choice award winner. Cumberbatch stars as Turing, the famed cryptanalyst who helped break the German Enigma code during WWII. Despite his integral role in assuring an Allied victory, Turing was forced to hide his homosexuality from the people he was closest to.

Co-starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, and Mark Strong, The Imitation Game opens November 21st, but will be the centerpiece of the Middleburg Film Festival on November 1st.
