Red-hot actress Britt Robertson (Tomorrowland, Delivery Man) has landed another high profile gig, this time joining Eddie Murphy in Cook. Directed by Bruce Beresford, the story has Murphy as a home cook hired by a dying man to prepare meals for his girlfriend and her daughter when he passes." A few weeks ago we learned that Ben Affleck would take time out of his busy Batman schedule to star in The Accountant, an action film directed by Gavin O'Connor. Now it looks like he'll be joined by Anna Kendrick and JK Simmons, assuming deals can get made with both. Kendrick would take the female lead in the film which stars Affleck as a government accountant who moonlights as a lethal assassin. Kendrick will be seen next in the musical Into the Woods, while Simmons is getting a ton of Oscar buzz for his performance in Whiplash. [Variety/THR]
