Shed a Tear to Billy Boyd's "The Last Goodbye" from 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies'

When Peter Jackson finally unveils The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies on December 17th, it will be the end of his second expanded (needlessly so) trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien's novels. It will be a sad moment for fans of the multibillion dollar franchise, sure to leave a few with Hobbit tears flowing down their cheeks. And just in case the closing credits won't be sad enough for you, Billy Boyd, who played Peregrin Took in the LOTR movies, is marking the occasion with the somber track "The Last Goodbye" which you can hear in its entirety below.

The full soundtrack composed by Howard Shore will be made available on December 9th, but you can go ahead and pre-order it here.  We'll see if this is actually the last time Jackson takes us to Middle Earth.
