Somewhere along the way Jon Bernthal and Ben Affleck must have become pals. The former 'Walking Dead' star who just recently co-starred in Fury opposite Brad Pitt, is joining Affleck in The Accountant. Directed by Gavin O'Connor and seeking Anna Kendrick and JK Simmons for supporting roles, the film centers on a mild-mannered government accountant who moonlights as a lethal assassin. Affleck also wants Bernthal to join his crime flick, Live by Night, which he'll be directing once clear of his Batman v Superman duties. [TheWrap]
