Before "Franchise Viagra" Dwayne Johnson worked his magic on WrestleMania last night, taking out Triple H and Stephanie McMahon with the help of UFC champ (and Furious 7 co-star) Ronda Rousey, he was hosting SNL. And to say he was in rare form would be an understatement. The Rock not only made fun of himself, but also his penchant for starring in silly blockbuster franchises.The best skit of the night saw him spoofing the Fast & Furious series and Disney's fixation on live-action reimaginings with a hyper-violent take on Bambi.
"Get Bucked" as Johnson stars as a cigar-chewing badass version of Bambi, with Taran Killam as a mumble-mouthed Vin Diesel, Jay Pharaoh as Ludacris, and Cecily Strong as Michelle Rodriguez. Is it wrong that I would pay to watch this version of Bambi a million times over rather than watch the original even once? Let's make this movie happen!
