Are you ready to head back to camp? Netflix has revealed the first photos from their upcoming 8-part series, Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, which you might have guessed is a follow-up to David Wain and Michael Showalter's cult classic comedy. Only this isn't a sequel, but instead a prequel taking us back to that first day at Camp Firewood in 1981.
All of the original gang are set to return, along with a handful of newcomers you might have heard of. Elizabeth Banks, H. Jon Benjamin, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper, Janeane Garofalo, Nina Hellman, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Lo Truglio, Ken Marino, AD Miles, Christopher Meloni , Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Marisa Ryan, Molly Shannon, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig, Chris Pine, and David Hyde Pierce make up the powerful comedic line-up, so you can imagine what the logistics on this must have been. Hopefully if this turns out pretty well we will finally get that big screen sequel we've been clamoring for? And is it me or have some of these people not aged a day since?
