Sam Claflin is 'Robin Friday'; Ginnifer Goodwin Voices 'Zootopia'; Alexandra Daddario Joins 'The Layover'

The Hunger Games' Sam Claflin is set to play footballer Robin Friday in the self-titled biopic. Directed by Henry-Alex Rubin (Disconnect) and adapted from Paul McGuigan and Paolo Hewitt's biography The Greatest Footballer You Never Saw: The Robin Friday Story, the film centers on the hard-partying soccer pro who became famous playing for Reading and Cardiff City until his retirement in 1978.

We got a very small glimpse at Disney's animated Zootopia a couple of years ago, learning at the time it would feature Jason Bateman as one of the lead voices. Now he's been joined by Once Upon a Time's Ginnifer Goodwin who will voice a character named Judy Hopps. The film takes place in a world where animals live just as we do. Hopps is an optimistic rabbit detective while Bateman voices Nick Wilde, a cynical con-artist fox who helps crack her first case. Rich Moore (Wreck-It Ralph) and Byron Howard (Tangled) are co-directing Zootopia for release on March 4th 2016.

After she shakes, rattles, and rolls with Dwayne Johnson in San Andreas, Alexandra Daddario will go on The Layover with Kate Upton. Daddario has joined Upton, Rob Corddry, Kal Penn, Matt Jones and Matt Barr in William H. Macy's directorial follow-up to Rudderless. Penned by David Hornsby and Lance Krall, the film centers on two best friends (Upton and Daddario) who decide to go on vacation to escape their problems, but end up stuck in St. Louis on an extended layover. To make matters worse they end falling for the same guy.
