An Avenger Shows Up in New 'Ant-Man' TV Spot; Michael Douglas wants to Join the Avengers

While there have been no firm confirmations about guest appearances in Marvel's Ant-Man, rumors have suggested a number of new Avengers, the ones seen at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, could turn up. One Avenger more than others has been at the center of those rumors, and now with this new international TV spot his cameo is confirmed. Beware of spoilers going forward!

About halfway through this international promo, one of the new team of Avengers can be glimpsed. Who is it? It turns out to be Falcon (Anthony Mackie), who can be seen for only a brief moment. What's he doing there? Is he coming to recruit Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) for the superhero big leagues? Or maybe he's looking for help from Michael Douglas' Hank Pym? If it's the latter, Douglas is more than open to Pym joining the Avengers. He tells Vulture...

"Honey, I’ll go anywhere....I’ll go anywhere they want me to. I like this Marvel family; it’s a lovely group. I’ll be honest, their track record’s impeccable — I mean, that’s 12 in a row, right? Who’s done that?"

Ant-Man opens in theaters on July 17th.
