Casting on the Harry Potter prequel trilogy Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them continues, and now two new member have come aboard to join Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller, and Katherine Waterston. According to Deadline, Dan Fogler (Fanboys) and singer Alison Sudol have landed two of the key supporting roles.
Fogler, who has been rumored for the film previously, will play Jacob, the chief rival of magizoologist Newt Scamander (Redmayne) as he catalogs magic creatures in New York seventy years pre-Harry Potter. Sudol will play Queenie, the younger sister to Scamander's wife. Jacob is also a muggle, and this film will be different from the earlier movies in that it will explore the lives of non-magic characters much further.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens November 18th 2016 written by JK Rowling and directed by David Yates.
