'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Blooper Reel; Disney Considers Film a Failure

Here's one thing that's maybe not so great about the seemingly endless parade of superhero movies; they get forgotten pretty quick. Remember Avengers: Age of Ultron? Yeah, it came out back in May, but before it had even left theaters it was time to start looking at Ant-Man, and now it's time to look at  Batman v Superman and Captain America: Civil War.  There's never a moment to let any of these movies digest. So going back to 'Age of Ultron', it actually did tremendously well at the box office, pulling in $1.4B worldwide. And yet, somehow, that's not being looked at as a success.

According to sources communicating with Bleeding Cool, the execs at Disney see 'Age of Ultron' as a failure because it made $100M less than The Avengers. When you're talking billions that may seem like a negligible difference but obviously Disney feels otherwise. Another knock against it were the reviews which weren't nearly as positive. Anyway, all of this is part of what we've been seeing over the last few days with Kevin Feige and the dissolution of the Marvel Creative Committee.

Disney still made a ton of money on it, and stands to make a lot more when Avengers: Age of Ultron hits Blu-Ray on October 2nd. And part of that home release will be this blooper reel (via Yahoo!), so at least we know everyone was having a good time while making such an obvious disaster of a movie. Pfft! Whatever, Disney.
