Chris Evans and Jared Leto Set to Join 'The Girl On the Train'

Already being looked at as one of next year's biggest thrillers, The Girl On the Train is assembling a cast to live up to those expectations. Rebecca Ferguson, Emily Blunt, and Haley Bennett are already on board Tate Taylor's adaptation of Paul Hawkins' best-selling book, and now a pair of A-list stars may be joining them.

According to THR, Chris Evans and Jared Leto are in talks for the film, which centers on a woman who is drawn into a mystery surrounding the seemingly-perfect couple she spies on her daily commute. Evans would play the husband to Ferguson's character, while Leto is the spouse of Bennett's character. It's a twisted, complicated mess the way these people tie together, and the less known about them the better.

No deals are in place yet as working out Evans and Leto's schedules is the big hurdle. If deals come together there's even more reason to think The Girl On the Train will be huge.
