We're happy to offer our readers passes to a very special screening of 99 Homes, the new drama from writer/director Ramin Bahrani (At Any Price) and starring Andrew Garfield and Michael Shannon. This timely film takes a look at the housing crisis in America, centering on a single father (Garfield) who loses his family home to a charismatic, unscrupulous businessman (Shannon), only to end up working for him evicting families in the same manner.
This screening takes place on Wednesday, September 9th at 7:30pm at AMC Mazza Gallerie, and is hosted by the Friendship Place, a non-profit organization that seeks to end homeless in Washington, DC, on behalf of the 99 Good Deeds Initiative.
