Vincent Cassel Raises An Army of Killers In The 'Partisan' Trailer

Winner of the Best Cinematography Award at Sundance earlier this year, Partisan was one of the most stunning movies to emerge from the festival from a visual standpoint. And yet it stands secondary to the intense central performance by Vincent Cassel, who commands the screen as a charismatic cult leader raising a child army.

Directed by Australian filmmaker Ariel Kleiman, Partisan centers on one of those children, Alexander, (played by Jeremy Chabriel) who is more defiant than the rest. He clashes with Gregori (Cassel) at every turn, leading to a battle of wills that can only end one way when violence is all they've ever known.

Partisan is a tremendous film and don't be surprised if more awards start coming its way upon release on October 4th.
