Here's the Exclusive 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' IMAX Poster, Plus New Photos

It's amazing how the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens hasn't quieted anticipation for the film but has instead ramped it up to another level. With ticket pre-orders causing a virtual shutdown of the major exhibitor sites and a movie marathon on the way leading up the film's debut, more is going on for Star Wars fans than ever before, and now you can one more thing to the list.

AMC Theaters has released the first exclusive IMAX poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens which is part of their "Star Wars Sundays" event promotion. A new piece from artist Dan Mumford will be made available every Sunday beginning December 20th through January 10th to those who buy tickets to see the film on IMAX 3D. This image is just the first and a new one will be revealed each week. Also, Stitch Kingdom has debuted a handful of new high-res images featuring John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and what appears to be the crimson view from Starkiller Base as it does what its name suggests. 

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens two days earlier on December 18th, but Disney really wants you to keep coming back for more.
