Marvel Announces 'Ant-Man' Sequel Featuring The Wasp; Reveals New Phase Four Mystery Dates

Only in the mega-successful world of Marvel Studios is a $409M box office disappointing, but that's what Ant-Man grossed earlier this year. While that ranks it on the lower end of Marvel offerings, it was enough to earn a sequel, and the title won't come as a surprise considering how the first film concluded.

Marvel has announced Ant-Man and The Wasp for July 6th 2018. Obviously, this puts Evangeline Lilly's Hope Van Dyne side-by-side with Paul Rudd's Scott Lang, which was pretty much teased by the last film. We can probably expect to see Michael Douglas return as Hank Pym, as well. No other details are available, and considering the turbulent production last time Marvel is likely hoping for a smoother shoot.

That's not all, as Marvel has revealed three mystery projects set for May 1, 2020, July 10, 2020, and November 6, 2020. What are they? Well, that's the mystery, but these are well beyond 2019's Avengers: Infinity War Part II, making them the first dates in Phase Four. Meanwhile, Black Panther now arrives on February 16, 2018 and Captain Marvel has been shifted to March 8, 2019.

There had been a lull of Marvel news since Captain America: Civil War wrapped but this will certainly get fans buzzing again. What do you think the three mystery projects will be?
