Patricia Arquette Robs the Mob in New Trailer for 'The Wannabe'

Bonnie & Clyde's criminal exploits made such a lasting impact that they not only became celebrities, but their names are attributed to any couple attempting a similar crime spree. The latest film that hopes to capture some of the duo's mystique is The Wannabe, starring Boyhood Oscar-winner Patricia Arquette and Jersey Boys' Vincent Piazza.

Written, directed, and co-starring Nick Sandow (Orange Is the New Black), the film is based on the real-life couple Thomas and Rosemarie Uva, who robbed mafia-controlled joints in 1992 during the John Gotti trial. Their story has been chronicled before in other movies, including last year's Rob the Mob.

Also starring reliable genre actors Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) and Domenick Lombardozzi (A Bronx Tale, The Wire), The Wannabe opens in theaters and VOD on December 4th.
