Teresa Palmer and Benjamin Walker Fall in Love Over Puppies in Trailer for Nicholas Sparks' 'The Choice'

Oh, and you thought The Longest Ride would also be the "final" ride? Well, forget it. There will ALWAYS be another Nicholas Sparks book to adapt into movies that guys everywhere will be dragged to. And the next one you have to look out for is The Choice, another romance about star-crossed lovers overcoming First World problems, but at least this one doesn't involve bull-riding.

Benjamin Walker, aka the POTUS in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and the underrated Teresa Palmer of I Am Number Four and Take Me Home Tonight, play southern neighbors who fall in love over their mutual affection for dogs or something. Of course there will be hurdles, like too much sunshine, too much boating, and a different boring guy vying for her affections, but this is a Sparks story and everything will work out....although somebody's probably going to die first. Maggie Grace's character seems a likely choice.

Here's the official synopsis as if you need it: THE CHOICE tells the story of Travis Shaw and Gabby Holland, who meet first as neighbors in a small coastal town and end up pursuing a relationship that neither could have foreseen. Spanning a decade and tracing the evolution of a love affair that is ultimately tested by life’s most defining events, this story features a memorable ensemble of friends and family in Sparks’ beloved North Carolina setting, culminating in the question that every couple must ask themselves: how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?

The Choice opens February 5th 2016.
