Rebecca Hall And Jason Sudeikis Make A Charming Pair In The 'Tumbledown' Trailer

The plot of the new comedy Tumbledown doesn't sound like the kind of thing one would expect from a comedy. The feature debut by Sean Mewshaw centers on a woman coping with her husband's sudden death. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun, does it?  And yet the film's first trailer isn't a total buzzkill at all and turns out to quite enjoyable, largely due to the starring duo of Jason Sudeikis and Rebecca Hall.

Hall plays the widow of a famous folk singer who had one great album before passing away. As her character struggles to deal with the loss, she decides to write a book about him only to encounter a New York writer (Sudeikis) who has the same idea. And naturally, out of initial conflict comes friendship and possibly something much greater.

Mewshaw has surrounded his stars with a terrific cast that includes Blythe Danner, Joe Manganiello, Dianna Agron, Griffin Dunne, and Richard Masur. Tumbledown opens in theaters and ITunes on February 12th.
