Taking over the role of villain Shredder in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows is character actor Brian Tee, who is pretty awesome in case you didn't know. Not only was he the "Drift King" in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, but he's been pretty great in Jurassic World and The Wolverine, as well. He's also known to stand idly by while his fans get beaten up by Casper Van Dien...
So yeah, I'm a fan. Anyway, Tee has revealed the first look at himself as Shredder in the TMNT sequel, and it's a look that is pretty faithful to the cartoons and comics.
Of course, we still need to see Shredder in action, and find out how he works together with Krang who will be making his long-awaited big screen debut. Here's the film's synopsis:
The Ninja Turtles come into conflict with T.C.R.I. scientist Dr. Baxter Stockman with the association of the Foot Clan and the return of the Shredder, who has hired Stockman to create mutants of their own in the form of Bebop and Rocksteady and an unknown invasion above New York City. To prevent the end of the world, the turtles and their human friends April O'Neil and Vern Fenwick comes to the aid with vigilante Casey Jones.
Directed by David Green with Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Tyler Perry, Will Arnett, Sheamus, Gary Anthony Williams, and William Fichtner starring, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows opens June 3rd.
