So you thought Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was too dark...too mean..too humorless? Well, you may be right (I still enjoyed it), but it could have been worse. Check out these unused posters [via HeroicHollywood] from the film which hilariously features two of the most pissed off superheroes I've ever seen. There haven't been heroes this angry since the Rob Liefeld era. I mean, Batman gritting his teeth like a rabid dog makes sense. But Superman looks ready to fry somebody up like a strip of Kryptonian bacon.
Eh. Probably better these weren't used. It might have seriously hurt the film's box office. Oops.
Oh, and if you ever had any question about who that Robin was that Batman had a memorial to? Duh, it was Jason Todd. You didn't seriously think it would be Dick "Nightwing" Grayson, did you? Check out this excerpt from the WB Studio Tour...
This was one of the big things from Batman v Superman, right across this way. The Jason Todd Robin suit. Spray painted on the front ‘Ha ha. The joke’s on you Batman’. Those of you that know the storyline, know what happened to this Robin. Comic book fans, unite!
So that leaves open the possibility of the Red Hood maybe showing up? And of course, for Nightwing to make an eventual appearance...assuming the DCU lasts that long.
