While there do appear to be cracks in the foundation over at Warner Bros. when it comes to Zack Snyder and his Justice League film, one associated rumor appears to be nothing but hot air. There had been talk of James Wan having concerns about directing Aquaman as the studio takes a more hands-on approach to these films in order to get them under control. And that should be the end of it, right? Of course it won't be as these stories tend to have a life of their own. Jason Momoa will dive into the character next in Justice League, along with Amber Heard as Aquaman's wife, Mera. Then Aquaman's standalone film will hit theaters some time in 2018.
