Jeremy Irons And Jack Huston Join 'An Actor Prepares', Lucas Till Leads 'Spectrum' Cast


Jeremy Irons and Jack Huston are teaming up for father/son roadtrip comedy, An Actor Prepares. Directed by Steve Clark from a script he co-wrote with Thomas Moffet, the story centers on "Atticus Smith (Irons) who is a highly celebrated actor whose spectacular career is matched only by his rugged good looks and devilish charm. His estranged son (Huston), a devoted husband and professor, couldn’t be more different from his father. But when a medical condition forces Atticus to hitch a ride from Los Angeles to New York to be at his daughter’s wedding, his son becomes his only option and the duo ensue on a madcap road adventure together." Lucas Till, who will be reprising his role as Havok in X-Men: Apocalypse, has just scored the headlining role in Spectrum, an original sci-fi film directed by Into the Storm writer Joe Swetnam. Till plays Connor, the son of a renowned scientist whose final experiment on a human subject goes terribly wrong. Years later when Connor and his friends find his father's secret laboratory, they unexpectedly encounter a vengeful force like no other. [THR]
