Rebel Wilson is finally about to star in her own romantic comedy. Actually, she's kinda starring in two of them at the same time. Variety reports Wilson is set to star in an untitled rom-com, but it comes with a bit of a twist.
The film, which has yet to find a director, stars Wilson as a woman who doesn't believe in love, only to wake up and discover she's trapped in a romantic comedy. Erin Cardillo wrote the script based on her own original idea, and it sounds like a perfect fit for Wilson who has traditionally played characters just like this. Or at least she has through two Pitch Perfect movies and in How to be Single.
Wilson will be seen next as part of The Absolutely Fabulous Movie alongside the TV show's popular stars, Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.
