Trailer For Netflix-Revived 'The Little Prince' Featuring James Franco, Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, And More

So what happened to The Little Prince, Mark Osborne's César Award-winning adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's beloved children's book? Despite the accolades heaped upon it, Paramount Pictures never released the film in March as they had originally intended.  Instead, they pulled it mere days ahead of release and gave the rights over to Netflix. Fortunately, the streaming service has more concrete plans with a new release date and trailer.

Jeff Bridges, Rachel McAdams, Paul Rudd, Marion Cotillard, Benicio Del Toro, James Franco, Ricky Gervais, and Paul Giamatti lend their voices to the CGI/stop-motion animated film which centers on a young girl who is told an incredible story by her neighbor, The Aviator, about a young boy who claims to be a prince from a far away asteroid.  His tale introduces her to a world in which anything is possible.

Netflix will stream The Little Prince and release it in select theaters on August 5th.
