New Trailer Welcomes You To 'Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children'

Professor Xavier isn't the only one who can build a school for kids with extraordinary abilities. You'll find students gifted with powers that would make the X-Men nervous in Tim Burton's adaptation of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and another oddity of a trailer has arrived.

Based on the bestselling book by Robin Riggs, the film stars Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Allison Janney, Judi Dench, Terence Stamp, Ella Purnell, Rupert Everett, and Samuel L. Jackson (Of course!! He's back to being in everything this summer). Butterfield plays an ordinary boy who discovers the refuge for students with unusual gifts, only to learn that they are in danger from a number of powerful foes.

The bizarre material should make for a perfect match with Burton, but this is another high-profile film that doesn't appear to be making much noise. Audiences may just be sick of this kind of thing, especially with X-Men: Apocalypse underperforming so badly.  Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children opens September 30th. Check out the trailer followed by a bunch of character posters.
