While much of the first season of Preacher has been in Texas, it looks like that is about to change. One gripe I’ve heard from fans of the graphic novel is that from the first panel of the comic book, Jesse is done with Texas and goes on a road trip with Tulip and Cassidy to find God. Basically, this entire season has almost acted like a prequel to the comic book. Whether you like that or not, it gives us more of a backstory as well as insight to these characters as we head towards the season finale.
AMC just released a trailer at Comic-Con for the remainder of the first season. Not only will Jesse, Cassidy, and Tulip be heading out of town to find God, but it looks like Fiore and DeBlanc are recruiting The Saint of Killers to kill Jesse so that they can get Genisis back.
Preacher airs on AMC Sunday nights at 9:00 PM.
