Robots Rebel In New Trailer For HBO's 'Westworld'
Let's be honest; HBO could use another hit series. Vinyl was a disaster, Silicon Valley is doing okay but hasn't caught on like some other shows, and Game of Thrones is nearing its end. So there's no surprise the network is putting a lot of muscle into pushing Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's sci-fi series, Westworld, and tonight they've debuted yet another trailer. They're putting out as many trailers as we see for major studio movies at this point.
The premise for this one is simple, but almost nothing promises to be simple in this futuristic tale set in an amusement park where artificial beings can help make every human desire a reality. Turns out that isn't always such a good thing, and soon some pretty weird stuff starts going down. Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins Jr. is a cast that is almost too incredible to believe, and it will be fun just seeing how they all fit in.
Westworld premieres on October 2nd. Will you be watching?
