'War On Everyone' Trailer Has Alexander Skarsgard And Michael Pena As Bad Cops

The last name McDonagh has become synonomous with a particular brand cynical R-rated comedy. First there was Martin McDonagh with the brilliantly vulgar In Bruges, followed by the twisted Seven Psychopaths. That was matched by younger brother John Michael with cop comedy The Guard, and the pitch black religious dramedy, Calvary.

Now John Michael is back with War on Everyone, and likely by now you've seen the eye-catching image of star Alexander Skarsgard flipping someone the bird. If that's not a good enough clue of the attitude we can expect, then maybe the latest trailer will do the trick. Skarsgard and Michael Pena play two Albuquerque cops who are about as corrupt as corrupt can be. It's all fun, games, and blackmail until they piss off the wrong person.

Also starring  Theo James, Tessa Thompson, Malcolm Barrett, Caleb Landry Jones, Paul Reiser, Stephanie Sigman, and David Wilmot, War on Everyone hits the U.K. in October but doesn't have a stateside date yet.
