Daisy Ridley, Michael Pena, And Judi Dench Find 'Murder On The Orient Express'

Well that didn't take long. Just yesterday reports surfaced that Kenneth Branagh's remake of Murder On the Orient Express may see a Dark Shadows reunion with Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer. Now today it looks like the train is indeed leaving the station as the duo will be joined by a full cast that includes Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Daisy Ridley.

According to THR, Ridley is joining the ensemble along with Judi Dench, Michael Pena, Leslie Odom Jr., Derek Jacobi, Tom Bateman, and Lucy Boynton. Wow. Branagh is pulling double-duty, directing the film and starring as detective Hercule Poirot. That's right, it's not Depp in the iconic investigator's role, instead he will play Ratchett, the murder mystery's victim. Pfeiffer is the glamorous Mrs. Hubbard, Ridley is working-class Mary Debenham, Odom is Dr. Arbuthnot, Bateman as Frenchman Bouc, Dench as Russian royal Princess Dragomiroff, and Pena as a passenger named Marquez.

Agatha Christie's book was adapted by Michael Green and opens November 22nd 2017.
