'Deadpool 2' Domino Shortlist May Include Sienna Miller, Mary Elizabeth Winstead

It took Ryan Reynolds and screenwriters Rhett Rheese and Paul Wernick nearly ten years to make Deadpool happen, and when it finally did the R-rated hero film was one of 2014's biggest smashes. You knew it was going to be good because there was never any news of 20th Century Fox trying to change the script or bring someone else in to write a new one. Fortunately we won't have to wait as long for the sequel, and with rumors already going around about who could be joining the cast, a new list of high-profile actresses are being mentioned.

According to Collider (grain of salt time), Sienna Miller (American Sniper), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs The World), Lizzy Caplan (Now You See Me 2), Sofia Boutella (Star Trek Beyond), Stephanie Sigman (Spectre), and Sylvia Hoeks (Blade Runner 2014) are testing for the role of Domino, the luck-based mutant who in the comics has a long, twisted history with Deadpool. Mackenzie Davis was rumored for the role a couple of months ago and may still be in the mix along with others who have yet to be revealed.

We don't know how legit this story is. To me it sounds like your typical studio wish list for this kind of project. But it's a good group, and any of them would be great for a film that promises to have a bit more star power. Deadpool 2 opens January 12th 2018.
