New Trailer For 'The Lego Batman Movie' Lightens Up The Dark Knight
He may be known as the "Dark Knight" but after the year he's had even Batman could use a little bit of levity. Fortunately, the team behind The Lego Movie agree, and are bringing back Will Arnett's hilarious take on the Justice Leaguer for The Lego Batman Movie, and it promises to be funnier than people who say they were always Aquaman fans. Dude, no you weren't.
The voice cast alone is worth about a dozen tickets, with Zach Galifianakis as the Joker, Michael Cera as Robin, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred, and Rosario Dawson as Batgirl. What's the plot? Check out the synopsis:
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
Directed by Chris McKay, The Lego Batman Movie opens February 10th 2017.
