When Marvel hired the Russo Brothers to direct Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it was met with a mighty "Huh? Wha?" from the majority of fans. The Russos had no action movie experience, and had mostly directed comedies throughout their careers, and yet they've provided Marvel with the most incredible fight sequences we've seen. We could be seeing something similar happen with Patty Jenkins and Wonder Woman. Jenkins, who previously directed Charlize Theron to an Oscar award for Monster, is doing things with action that we haven't seen out of the DCEU. It's truly remarkable, and you can see more of her amazing work in the latest trailer.
With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 out of the way we've seen Warner Bros. seriously ratchet up the marketing on Wonder Woman. This should be the final trailer for the film and they may have saved the best for last. Gal Gado has so settled into the role that we no longer here complaints from those who didn't like her casting. Besides showing a lot of kick ass footage, there's also quite a bit of humor and a more comic book-y feel that may be a sign of things to come for future DC flicks.
