Jennifer Lawrence Has Heart In Gory Poster For Darren Aronofsky's 'Mother!'

It's Mother's Day weekend and while all of us are celebrating the women who gave their everything to us; their sweat, their blood, their tears, their heart and soul, Darren Aronofsky is using the holiday to debut the first poster for his next film, mother! And it looks like star Jennifer Lawrence is giving her heart to this one, in more ways than one.

The poster features Lawrence, literally having ripped the heart from her chest in an image that should make Alien: Covenant blush. The film has mostly been kept under wraps but it stars Javier Bardem, Domhnall Gleeson, Ed Harris, Kristen Wiig, Brian Gleeson, and Michelle Pfeiffer in the story of a couple whose tranquil existence is disrupted when uninvited guests arrive. 

Mother! hits theaters on October 13th.
