New Trailer For 'Transformers: The Last Knight' Reveals A Secret History

Paramount could save themselves an Ultra Magnus amount of money if they just stuck with one trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight. I mean, don't these things sell themselves by now anyway? They all make over $1B and sell enough toys to fill a Metroplex. And the same will probably be the same for this one, the fifth and "final" to be directed by Michael Bay, even though its plot seems to make absolutely no sense at all.

The latest trailer offers us a look at Jerrod Carmichael's comic relief character, freaking out as Grimlock chomps on some old cars. Then there's the same timeline-altering nonsense about a "secret history" of the Transformers, which apparently includes them having a role in WWII and becoming members of the Knights of the Round Table. Hey, at least somebody will make some money off the King Arthur storyline this summer, ain't that right, Warner Bros? We also see Optimus Prime shred an Autobot foe, which is still kinda wild, and Bumblebee is more in the action than ever, perhaps to hype him up for his upcoming solo movie.

Transformers: The Last Knight opens June 21st.
