Rats Terrorize Thomas Jane In New Trailer For Stephen King's '1922'
Hollywood is all in on Stephen King adaptations lately, with Netflix more invested than most. Later this fall the streaming service will release the original film, Gerald's Game (trailer here), based on one of King's suspenseful thriller novels. And barely a month later Netflix comes back with 1922, an adaptation of King's novella about a husband who murders his wife.
Thomas Jane, Molly Parker, Dylan Schmid, Brian d'Arcy James, and Neal McDonough star in the film about a farmer who recounts how he murdered his wife when she threatened to move away to the city. He finds getting away with the crime is tough when he's terrorized by rats, that maybe were sent by his dead wife's ghost?
Anything with rats, or any kind of vermin for that matter (that goes for you too Ratatouille!) is something I'll want to avoid, but King fanatics will definitely want to check this one out. It looks creepy as Hell. 1922 hits Netflix on October 20th, directed by Zak Hilditch.
