Considering what's been going on with the rest of the Star Wars universe, production on Rian Johnson's Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been smooth sailing. So smooth that he can now boast to having completed post-production a whole three months before release. In fact, that's exactly what he's done in his latest Instagram image.
Now that he's finished, the rest of the work can begin. The press tour is going to need to be put into place, and that is going to be huge. And there's a ton of localization that needs to be done for international territories. Plus, with J.J. Abrams coming back to direct 'Episode IX' it wouldn't be a shock to see Johnson tweak a few scenes . Johnson made similar requests of Abrams after Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and one good turn deserves another, right?
Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens December 15th. Check out a batch of new photos below featuring tense staredowns between Finn and Rose, Luke and Rey, and the return of General Hux and Captain Phasma.
