Well it's about time, Marvel! Variety is reporting that Samuel L. Jackson has signed a deal to play the eyepatched Nick Fury in as many as nine future films, a good portion of which are due out in 2010 and 2011.
Obviously this is good news, and something I've been harping about for weeks now. Finally Marvel listened to me! I knew all those emails to Joe Quesada meant something! Now hopefully they can get the other people they've been sparring with financially signed and get these projects off the ground, but this is a step in the right direction.
