, is aboard to script the project. No word on any other talent involved.
The Man Without Fear's first film, released in 2003 and starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, was a modest success, earning over $179M worldwide, amidst average reviews from critics. A spinoff featuring Garner's

was released in 2005, and sucked eggs. Prospects for any future Daredevil films seemed slim at that point. The reason this project is moving ahead now, and why a lot of other mediocre comic book films are being pushed ahead, is that Fox needs to utilize these licenses otherwise they could possibly revert back to Marvel's ownership. I know I'm in the minority here, but I liked Dardevil, and felt it captured the feel of the comic pretty effectively. The director's cut fleshes out the film even more, providing more insight into Murdock and Elektra's relationship. I wish they were considering a sequel, rather than a reboot, but this is better than nothing I guess.
