* There's a highly suspect rumor floating around that Jennifer Aniston is looking to get killed off in Wes Craven's Scream 4. This bit of gossip comes from Star Magazine, which has all the credibility of a snake with two tongues, but this isn't really the type of thing they usually put out there for no good reason. Expect there to be a kernel of truth to the story. Let's not forget that Aniston's bff Courtney Cox-Arquette is on board already. The sad thing is, if she does sign on to be the first scene celebrity death in the flick it'll be the best thing she's done since 2002.
*Sigourney Weaver joins up with Taylor Lautner to star in the action/thriller, Abducted. The John Singleton helmed project features the Twilight star as a guy who discovers his own baby picture on a Missing Persons website, kicking off a chain of events. Weaver will play his psychiatrist.
*Stephen Graham will be re-teaming with his Public Enemies
running buddy Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The actor, probably best known for his role in Snatch
, will be playing Scram, a sidekick to Jack Sparrow who aids in the quest for the Fountain of Youth. Pirates 4 is due to set sail on May 20th, 2011.*Director Rob Minkoff(The Lion King
) has managed to pull Ashley Judd out of her year-long break from acting, tapping her to co-star alongside Patrick Dempsey in the heist flick, Flypaper. She'll be replacing Liv Tyler, who dropped out after discovering Minkoff was responsible for inflicting both Stuart Little 2 and The Haunted Mansion on us in the span of a year. I can't back that up with any sort of evidence, but I stand by my story. Judd will be a part of two rival bank robber crews that invade the same bank at the same time, only to come under attack by a mysterious enemy, played by Dempsey. Did his character die in Grey's Anatomy's season finale? If not, why not?
