Portman doing an edgier film like this seems strange after the buzz she's receiving for Black Swan. It just seems sorta similar on the face of it all. Jeunet also makes for a strange fit, but with projects like Micmacs
and Alien Resurrection
(such as it is), the director has proven he can do interesting work out of any genre.
