The Hangover 2 cast rejects Mel Gibson

What? Not everybody thinks it's a wise idea to have that raving anti-semite, drunk driver, nasty voicemail leaver, and occasional domestic abuser Mel Gibson revive his career via cameo in  The Hangover 2? Surely you jest. In a statemement released by director Todd Phillips, he says...

"I thought Mel would have been great in the movie and I had the full backing of Jeff Robinov and his team. But I realize filmmaking is a collaborative effort, and this decision ultimately did not have the full support of my entire cast and crew.”

Told you there was a world of difference between Mike Tyson and Mel Gibson, and apparently the cast of The Hangover agrees. At least Tyson is only a threat to bite your ear off, or give you a poorly placed tattoo.
