. Good lord let's hope it turns out better than that stinker. Robopocalypse has a very simple story premise, one that should appeal to fans of not only sci-fi but big budget action blockbusters: The human race is forced to fight in order to survive a violent robot uprising.
Shooting is set to being in January 2012, with a release date some time in 2013.
Wilson's novel is set to release in June 2011. Another case of a story being optioned before the book is even finished. I hate that, but oh well.
