Transformers Night Shoot--DC Mall

Well here it is folks, is it all we'd thought it be? Well no, not exactly but still saw some pretty cool stuff. Apparently the DC permits were a little more strict then we were lead to believe so no explosions, robots, or even sparks. That being said we caught site of Micheal Bay and Shia LeBeouf...who apparently walked right by me as I was (SHOCKER!) texting on my phone. We also got some good looks at the vehicles including some yet to be seen Decepticons that masquerade (apparently, judging by the tags) as government vehicles, but that emblem don't lie! So here's what we got, hope you enjoy!

The puppet master himself, Micheal Bay doing some directing I suppose....can't you just hear him saying "Yeah I know it's a sentimental dialogue scene....but wouldn't it be BETTER with explosions?"

Some randomness from the set...really not too much to see, Shia was somewhere in that sea of people, go ahead with the "Where's Waldo?" for the first to find him. (Click on Images for larger versions)

A new Dodge SRT-8 Decepticon that looks like a dune buggy and a Warthog from Halo had a baby.....end result=badassery

A somewhat (READ: VERY) dark look at the Chevy Suburban decepticons. I included the bottom picture of the Suburbans tag to show that it is indeed masquerading as a gov't vehicle.

Next we get a shot of the all new Autobot 'Bicyclus Prime' in action! Well, let me clear that up, what we have is a DC cop doing fake wheelies on his ultra cool pursuit bike. Way to serve and protect officer, I don't know a single 13 year old that's got shit on you and your wheelie ability. I said good day.

NOW, PRIME and his Autobot's!!!

And last but certainly not least we'll leave you with this video of Optimus Rollin' out to another set and some minor speculation. As we left we heard the crew announcing that the lead actors would be back at 6AM for the "Sunrise Shot". Now, knowing Micheal Bay and his style sunrise almost ALWAYS denotes the end of the film's climax (seriously go check his stuff almost every movie ends at sunrise). What I'm gleaming from this is that DC plays at least a partial role in the film's climax and will most likely be where the hero's show up to gather themselves after the final battle. But, that's just my opinon, without further adu, here's Optimus.
