and every other horror flick for the last two years, it was pretty clear that we'd be getting a third helping of passive aggressive poltergeists tormenting hot chicks. And so PA creator(and director of the first film) Oren Peli has stated that Paramount has already locked down an October 21st, 2011 date for Paranormal Activity 3. What? It's coming out around Halloween? Surely you jest. Peli, who only produced the second film, gave no other details. No word on whether or not he'll come back to direct or if he'll bring back Tod Williams, who far exceeded the expectations I had for him.
So far I'm really digging how the first two flicks melded together and enhanced one another. Paranormal Activity is a more watchable film now because of the way the sequel tied into it, so let's hope that keeps up next year. Now I just need to figure out how to get my hands on a copy of Paranormal Activity 2: Tokyo Night.
