One thing we haven't seen a lot of from all the previous trailers for David O. Russell's boxing drama The Fighter is...well, boxing. We've seen a ton of the more dramatic interaction between Mickey Ward(Mark Wahlberg) and his troubled brother, Dickie Ecklund(Christian Bale). But how's the fighting? Anybody who's seen a real life Mickey Ward fight knows he was a guy who had some of the bloodiest, most intense brawls in recent memory. So the film is going to have to push the limits to come close to comparing.
The third, and likely final, trailer for the film has been released and this one is almost entirely of Wahlberg in action. Definitely my favorite of the bunch. I'll be checking The Fighter out tomorrow afternoon, and will be back with a full review when it releases on December 17th!
