Channing Tatum has starred in two movies from director Dito Montiel, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, and Fighting. Both feature tough stories about growing up and surviving on the mean streets of New York, and generally I liked each of them. I got some issues with 'Saints', in the way it only includes part of what was in Montiels memoir, but what the film does include was handled pretty well.
Tatum and Montiel will be teaming up again for the director's latest film, The Son of No One, which is set to debut at this year's Sundance Film Festival and is seriously picking up steam. Montiel also wrote the story, which follows "a young cop is assigned to a precinct in the working class neighborhood where he grew up, and an old secret threatens to destroy his life and his family." Ray Liotta, Al Pacino, Juliette Binoche, Tracy Morgan, and Katie Holmes also star.
A new poster for the film has been released ahead of it's premier, which you can check out below! Thanks to THR for the image!
